SERENITY IN THE CITY
A series of structures and screens obscure the 50 ft. long x 8ft. high boundary wall. Extending from the kitchen, a sinuous seat wall carves a nook for outdoor dining; this minimizes the need for space-grabbing furniture. Boulders offer additional seating beside the 'mystery door' that shields a laughing Buddha; the door suggests an extended garden beyond the confines of the wall, enticing guests to explore. A sturdy vine-covered arbor frames the fountain and the view from the kitchen.
